UID and RFID Education
Education is crucial in understanding and implementing UID. A2B has been involved with UID from the very beginning. Through our involvement with numerous contractors and DoD sites, we have assembled UID case studies, UID articles and the UID Quarterly newsletter, all designed to make vital information available to you. In addition our White Papers are a great source of background information.
We also offer an ongoing series of UID Webinars presented by David Collins, President of Data Capture Institute. Mr. Collins, who is often referred to as "the father of the bar code industry" was a member of the DoD's UID Integrated Product Team. With forty-five years of experience in bar code and, more recently RFID, Mr. Collins presents UID in a clear and concise manner that wins rave reviews from participants.
We also present UID requirements where you can "walk through" the UID cycle, from marking to uploading IUIDs to the WAWF and IUID Registry. Be sure to check out MIL STD 130 which includes the most frequently asked questions we receive about that standard.
