US Senators Chafee and Reed Staffers Visit A2B at Providence UID Forum
PORTSMOUTH, RI – (April 21, 2006) A2B Tracking Solutions, Inc. welcomed three distinguished visitors to the UID Forum in Providence this week. John Pagliarini, Rhode Island Director for Senator Lincoln D. Chafee (R-RI) and Chafee staff member Charles Hawkins along with Nancy Langrall, Policy Director for Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), were briefed on UID policy by A2B officials. Later the group toured the exhibit floor, accompanied by UID Program Manager LeAntha Sumpter and Rob Leibrandt, Deputy Program Manager for Unique Identification. Both senators’ offices have expressed enthusiasm for the cost containment and accountability implicit in UID and are active in ongoing support for its timely implementation.
