Customer/Field Trainer

The Customer/Field Trainer will be responsible for the development and delivery of effective technical and software and hardware product training programs for commercial customers and field staff supporting government projects.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and assess training needs of members; provide recommendations based on findings.
Create training plans and determine instructional methodology; manage training requirements in support of program goals, objectives, and schedules.
Design and develop training programs and materials for the initial, continuing, and contingency training.
Research modern training technologies and technics.
Develop customer assessment methods to maximize application and retention of information.
Manage projects related to training.
Analyze findings from training program evaluations and make recommendations for improvement.
Advise internal and external partners in developing specialized training programs
Coordinate with other departments, employees, and vendors to support training goals, objectives, and commitments.
Other duties as assigned

Education/Skills/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Information Systems, or related technical field required.
Three to Five years of experience in a Training or Corporate/Customer Education environment.
Experience in a systems and mobile data capture environment strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Commitment to customer service excellence and teamwork.
Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and customers.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to travel a minimum of 75%
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
