Sniffen has been named UID Business Development Sales Engineer. Sniffen brings extensive experience in managing large-scale, technology driven, improvement programs that impact enterprise economies and stockholder value.
Most recently, as a Military/Aerospace Director at Amphenol Corporation Sniffen entered new C4I programs and other defense markets for Amphenol’s Texas based production facilities and coordinated fifteen Amphenol divisions to support complementary product line offerings including optical and electronic cable assemblies.
Among the senior management roles he held during fifteen years at Verizon/MCI in Richardson, TX, Mr. Sniffen was Senior Manager of Asset Identification, Asset Management and Tracking. The $40 million asset identification project, designed and implemented under his leadership over a three-year span, was the largest non-retail bar code identification system prior to the introduction of UID at the Department of Defense.
