A2B Tracking Announces New Release of UID Comply!® for GFP

PORTSMOUTH, RI (April 30, 2008) - A2B Tracking Solutions Inc, the leading provider of unique identification (UID) compliance products and services, is announcing the release of UID Comply!® v1.5.3.0 data management software for GFP (government furnished property).

This latest release, which is MIL-STD-130 and schema 3.4 compliant, gives custodians of GFP the ability to register life cycle events. Enhanced scanning capabilities allow users to change a contract, return items to the government or initiate a life cycle event by scanning the IUID on the property.

Remote HPC scanning, away from the desktop, now enables the addition of life cycle events in addition to harvesting and validating new property marks. This allows the user to utilize scanning to accept new property that is already marked, to change a contract for existing property, or to record the end of custody and remove property from inventory.

With UID Comply! v1.5.3.0, UID life cycle property data is managed from cradle to grave, beginning with the creation of the UII, through printing, verification, validation, registration and finally the end of the life events described above – custody removal and disbursement.
