A2B Employee Honored by Air National Guard

 

Doris Nielson, a certified part marking leader (CPML) working on the US Air Force Part Marking Team has received a certificate of appreciation from the Channel Islands, CA Air National Guard.

In making the award, equipment manager TSgt Quang D.Pham said,“Doris Nielson is a true professional. We were impressed by her knowledge of the IUID program. She was well prepared and ready to work, and we want to thank her for everything she did for us.”

Nielson says, “I am honored and very appreciative of this award. I just did my job.” AF Part Marking Field Operations Manager John Jay Mouligne says “Doris goes above and beyond at every base. She started with the team when the project was in the pilot phase and since then has led teams from Hawaii to the Pentagon where she is currently working.”

Nielson is one of 30 CPMLs who oversee 150 field personnel. Under the Air Force Item Unique Identification (UID) Part Marking Contract, A2B personnel are marking assets, with specialized Data Matrix bar codes, at 221 Air Force bases around the world.
